PRP + REP Redundancy Configuration for IE-3100 Switches

Express Setup

If you get a red flashing LED after pressing express setup, hold express setup button until you get green/red alternating blinks to factory reset (takes 15-20 sec). If you are wanting to restore a configuration from an SD card from an old switch, make sure you remove the SD card from the switch you are factory resetting prior to the factory reset procedure, otherwise the configuration on the SD flash card will also be erased. The default login for a factory fresh device is:
Loginadmin
Password(Serial Number - Uppercase)

Configure the new credentials on the first 0-Day Classic Configuration page as follows:

Login admin
Password switch
Host Name RIOxxx-SW-LAN-x

Saving the Configuration

Once you've configured everything, you'll need to click the save button/icon on the top right of the header to save this current configuration as the startup configuration. If you do not do this and the switch is rebooted, it will go back to the settings that were last saved or that it was last booted from (whichever was the latest).

If you have an SD card in the switch, now is a good time to sync the configuration to the SD card as well.

Administration --> Backup/Restore --> Sync

Click on Sync Both to copy both the IOS firmware and current startup configuration to the SD flash card.
